Community, Workshop, or Private Venue options:

The Shed and surrounding gardens are available to hire — for private gatherings as a venue, or as a workshop space for you to teach, with as little or as much support as you need.

Whether you’re after a private or a fully tailored and hosted experience, I’m happy to work with you to shape the indoor and outdoor areas to suit your needs.

Community Group Hire

Depending on your personal requirements for the space as a general estimate, not-for-profits or community user groups may expect to pay as little as $10 p/p to cover tea and coffee and to have the space allocated to suit.

Workshop Venue
Hire

A guest teacher/workshop facilitator might expect $40.p/h for use of all the amenities with the support of myself throughout your class; advertising, promoting, booking, setting up, hosting, taking names and payments etc.

Private Venue
Hire

Corporate events and large parties may incur higher rates or capacity-based pricing up to $150. p/h including private use of the space and surrounding yard.

  • Tea & coffee facilities, urn etc.

 

Extras upon request:

  • Punch bowls, glassware, platters, tiered servers, bain-maries and other food warming and catering equipment

  • Fresh flowers, floral arrangements, props and décor

  • Outdoor marquees 3×3 m or 6×3 m 

  • Rugs, additional seating, lighting and lounge area can be set up outside.

 

Venue Layout

  • The main shed space is 100 sqm, featuring French doors opening to a large undercover area, lawn and gardens.

  • A 15×9 m (135 sqm) gravel area beside the shed is available for use within the property boundary.​

Workshop Facilities

If you are looking for a venue to run a class, or need an extra set of hands or some help with all the management running the workshop and you think this space might be a good fit, please contact me to discuss options.

Workshop Facilities

  • As above, all kitchen and bathroom facilities.

  • Coffee/tea station and catering options available.

  • Large, indoor 12-seater work-table with 12 power points to accommodate tools such as sewing machines, irons, glue guns, wood-burning tools, heat guns, or soldering irons.

  • Large outdoor, undercover work-tables, both with easy access to double wash troughs for easy cleanup.

  • Flexible layout – furniture and areas can be rearranged to suit your needs eg additional tables for display of your wares, or workspace overflow.

  • Some tools and consumables are available for use on request.
